Grantlun Background
Grantlun Corporation was founded in 1989 by Grant Lungren. His aim was to create a fully integrated estimating and project management system for infrastructure contractors.
That was accomplished in 1999 when investors provided capital to broaden Grantlun's marketing efforts and changed the firm's name to Hard Dollar. In 2002, after architecting the functionality of Hard Dollar's next-generation system, Grant retired from his positions as Chairman and CEO of Hard Dollar and re-launched Grantlun in a different direction - this time with a mission to provide construction enterprise management training and expert consulting services.
Grantlun and its affiliates provide construction enterprise management training and consulting services to contractors across North America - all based on its founder's background and 38 years of construction industry experience:
- Master Degree in Business Administration, Bachelor Degree in Construction Management, Arizona State University
- Registered Engineer, licensed contractor in 5 states
- 12 years of hands-on construction experience as Project Engineer, Estimator, Project Manager and General Manager
- 10 years of executive management as President of the then nation's largest federal highway-bridge contractor
- 10 years of executive management as President, CEO and Chairman of Hard Dollar Corporation, the nation's leading provider of integrated estimating and project control systems to infrastructure contractors
- 6 years of executive consulting as President of Grantlun Corporation
Grantlun's business headquarters are located in Bozeman, Montana, where Grantlun's hard working staff enjoy Montana's great outdoors and the area's tremendous business resources anchored by Montana State University.
